What is NFC passport verification?
NFC is Near Field Communication. With a compatible device, it lets a verification journey communicate with the contactless chip in an electronic passport or other supported electronic travel document.
Does every passport support chip reading?
No. The document must contain a compatible electronic chip, and the device must support NFC. Availability also depends on the document, device and verification setup.
